  • Q. What is Rapidgator?

    A. Rapidgator is a service for transfer, storage, and distribution of your files.

  • Q. Is Rapidgator service free?

    A. As free user, you can upload files up to 500MB and download files up to 500 MB!

  • Q. How can i upload files?

    A. It’s very simple. Click “Upload files” button, then click “Choose file”, use file explorer to search, pick the file, and after picking it, click “Upload”. After upload finishes, you will receive your file download and deletion link.

  • Q. How can i delete files?

    A. You can delete files with unique link, that you get after upload process completes. Also you can delete files from your account “My Files” section.

  • Q. Why do I need to register with Rapidgator?

    A. In general, you do not need to register, but registration provides additional benefits. You can download files with unlimited speed.

  • Q. Is it possbile to search files on Rapidgator?

    A. No, you can’t search files on our site.

  • Q. Can I store personal files on Rapidgator?

    A. Yes, all files you upload to Rapidgator are hidden from others and only you are aware of them untill you share the file download link with someone else.

  • Q. I can’t log into my account, what should i do?

    A. If you can’t enter your account, use the password reminder function. If you don’t receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact our support.

    A. With premium account you get: – Unlimited storage

  • Q. How much Premium-account cost?

    A. You can check the cost and duration of Premium accountson on our subscription page.

  • Q. What payment methods do you accept?

    A. We accept many payments methods. Full list is available on our subscription page.

  • Q. I’m afraid to buy Premium account, are you sure it’s safe?

    A. Absolutely. All your data is transfered through encrypted channel. We do not collect any financial data of our users and do not store it.

  • Q. I purchased a Premium-account, but your system does not recognize me. What is wrong?

    A. Please make sure that you allow the use of cookies in your browser. Also make sure that you have not installed any software that blocks the receiving and sending cookies or disable proxy server. We do not recommend to use AOL browser.

  • Q. Can i send premium-account to someone else?

    A. Yes, you can, but make sure that only one person will use presented account, otherwise account can be suspended.

  • Q. My Premium account was automatically rebilled, but i don’t want this to happen, what should i do?

    A. You can remove automated rebills in your profile setting. After that, next subscription period won’t be automatically prolongated.

Upload/Download

  • Q. Which files can I upload and what is the maximum file size?

    A. You can upload any files (EXE, MP3, MPEG, AVI, RAR, ZIP, JPG, etc.), the maximum file size is up to 5GB!

  • Q. How long do you keep my files?

    A. Rapidgator offers a long term storage of files – 30 days since its last download for regular accounts and unlimited for the owners of premium accounts with limited storage space. In case you ordered premium with unlimited storage space – We’ll delete files after 60 days from last download. Files that violate copyright laws or containing any illegal content will be removed immediately, as soon as they are discovered. If you find such files on Rapidgator servers, we would appreciate it if you tell us about it.

  • Q. I do not have a registered account on Rapidgator. How long will you keep my files?

    A. Rapidgator is a free file storage service and registration is not mandatory. Therefore, even for unregistered users, the file storage period is 30 days from the date of the last download.

  • Q. Can I delete my uploaded file at any time?

    A. Of course you can! Once you download the file, you will receive a unique link to download the file, you can send to whomever you want, and a unique link to delete a file, you should keep for yourself. To delete a file – just click on the link to delete a file! As registered user, you can delete your personal files with the file manager in your personal account

  • Q. What are the limits for downloading files from Rapidgator?

    A.If you are free user, you can simultaneously download only a single file. This means you can not use any download accelerator: GetRight, FlashGet etc. As Premium-user you can download files with download managers in multiple threads, each with resume download support.

  • Q. Can I see the whole Rapidgator file archive?

    A. In general – no. Our service guarantees total confidentiality of our users files.

  • Q. Why is my upload speed low?

    A. Download and upload speed may be limited by your ISP. To get priority in uploading, get a Premium-account or try to upload a file later. If you already have Premium, you will be able to download files in multiple threads by using download manager.

  • Q. Your system reports that I download files or that I have already downloaded too much. But I have not downloaded anything! What is wrong?

    A. Our system uses your IP-address in order to count the number of downloads. If you receive such message and you really have not downloaded anything, then you probably use a proxy server, which is simultaneously used by other people. You should disable the proxy server. If your provider does not allow it – the only possible solution in this case is to buy Premium-account. Premium-Account is used to recognize users cookies, instead of IP-address.
